FAIRFIELD, CT – Hazzard County & The Heavy Hitters are set to perform at a special benefit concert, "A Night of Music," on Saturday, November 15th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Warehouse at Fairfield Theatre Company . All proceeds from the event will support St. Vincent’s Medical Center's Swim Across the Sound, a crucial initiative that provides financial assistance to local cancer patients. The Swim Across the Sound offers vital aid for expenses not covered by insurance, including rent, utility bills, groceries, and transportation to treatment. The program also helps patients with the purchase of wigs, prosthetics, and mastectomy bras, and so much more.. "A Night of Music" was founded over a decade ago by sisters Charlene Lebo and Suzanne Sabia. The event honors the memory of their husbands, Keith Lebo and Jim DeSantie, who both passed away from pancreatic cancer within a year of each other. Last year's event raised more than $72,000, with the support of the St. Vincent’s Medical Center philanthropy team. The evening will be hosted by radio personality Brian Smith, known for his work on WPLR's "Smith and Barber the Morning Show." There will also be a special performance of our National Anthem by Denise Daniel Biagi. The event will also feature a silent auction.
