Touch A Truck in Stamford Downtown Returns WHAT: Touch A Truck in Stamford Downtown DETAILS: Stamford Downtown hosts Touch A Truck in Veterans Memorial Park Stamford Downtown, in partnership with several City of Stamford departments, invites families to a free, fun-filled event during Stamford Public Schools’ Spring Break. Touch A Truck offers kids the exciting chance to climb aboard, explore, and interact with a variety of vehicles. From fire trucks and police cars to buses and construction equipment, children can get up close to the big rigs and powerful machines they usually only see from afar. Participating organizations include the Stamford Fire Department, Stamford Police Department, Stamford Emergency Services, the City’s Operations Department, the Ferguson Library, and CT Transit. This interactive event is the perfect opportunity for children to discover their favorite trucks and learn more about the people who operate them.
