Danbury, CT – CityCenter Danbury, in partnership with the Mexican Cultural Center Danbury and proudly sponsored by Ventura Law , invites the community to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with an afternoon full of culture, music, and family-friendly fun on Saturday May 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the CityCenter Danbury Green (1 Ives Street, Danbury). This vibrant celebration will highlight the rich traditions and heritage of Mexican culture, bringing together residents, families, and visitors for an engaging and festive experience in the heart of downtown Danbury. Attendees can enjoy: Live music and entertainment Authentic Mexican cuisine from local vendors Cultural performances and dancing Family-friendly activities A variety of local vendors and community organizations “Events like Cinco de Mayo are an important part of our mission to celebrate the diversity that makes Danbury so special,” said Lazaro Chavez, Executive Director of CityCenter Danbury. “We’re excited to partner with the Mexican Cultural Center to bring this energetic and meaningful celebration to our downtown!” Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory at the Battle of Puebla and has become a widely recognized celebration of Mexican culture and pride.
