HOLIDAY EVENTS 2023

On Tuesday, December 26, 2023, Ski Sundown will open for the 2023-2024 season, with ten out of sixteen trails. All five lifts will be running on their holiday operating schedule from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. beginning Dec. 26th - Jan 1st . We recommend that lift ticket, lesson, rental, and program purchases be made in advance online at skisundown.com . Our ticket windows will also be open to customers beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Ski School, Welcome Center, Rentals, Tuning & Repair Shop, Ski Shop, Food Courts, and the Last Chair Bar will be fully operational. Ski Sundown’s snowmaking team has been making snow diligently at every opportunity when the temperatures have allowed, in spite of several periods of heavy rain. They plan to take advantage of any upcoming snowmaking opportunities to increase the snow base and to get more trails open. As always, our team is committed to providing the best possible trail conditions that our customers have come to expect from us. The mountain will open with four beginner/novice, four intermediate, and two advanced trails. Our goal is to get 100% coverage on all of our trails as soon as possible. Conditions on opening day will be machine groomed, and ideal for skiers and riders of all ability levels.
