Summer Adventures Await as Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo Announces Registration Open for Zoo Patrol

BRIDGEPORT, CT  – Connecticut’s Beardsley Zoo is excited to announce the return of Zoo Patrol, an immersive and educational summer program for kids. Designed for young animal lovers and future conservationists, Zoo Patrol offers seven weeklong sessions filled with adventure, discovery, and behind-the-scenes experiences.

Each day children will explore a different area of the zoo with a custom guided experience. Children spend much of the week outdoors, learning about animals at the Zoo, their enrichment, and veterinary care through staff presentations designed to engage young audiences. There is also an emphasis on learning through play with Zoo-themed games and art-making activities.

This year’s sessions run from June 30th through August 15th, with opportunities for children ages 7-11 and 11-13 to explore our environment and the fascinating world of wildlife. Registration is now open at beardsleyzoo.org, and spots fill up fast.
