New York Comedy Club Stamford Launches First-Ever Stand-Up Comedy Workshop.

Have you ever watched a stand-up set and thought, “I could do that”? Whether you’ve got a secret stash of one-liners or just want to challenge yourself in a new and exciting way, now’s your chance to take the mic. New York Comedy Club Stamford is launching its first-ever stand-up comedy workshop, designed for aspiring comedians and anyone curious about the craft of comedy. This hands-on experience will cover the essentials of writing, timing, delivery, and how to own the stage—all taught by industry pros in a supportive, fun environment.



Learn from the Pros

Leading the workshop is Candi Clare, New York Comedy Club’s longtime Head Talent Booker, who has worked with hundreds of comedians and helped shape the careers of today’s rising stars. She’ll be joined by Ashley Austin Morris, a seasoned stand-up comic and actress known for her sharp wit and commanding stage presence. Together, they’ll offer participants personalized feedback, insider tips, and real-world advice on breaking into the comedy scene.

Professional comedian Ashley Austin Morris will assist in teaching the workshop.
