The Barons

About / Music

The Barons are one of the tri-state’s hottest tribute groups, offering an energetic, faithful rendition of the Motown and R&B hits from the 1960's. With over 45 years of performing experience, The Barons are known for multiple 60's hits of their own, such as “Pledge of A Fool” and “Remember Rita” on Epic Records, as well as “Possibility” (recorded on Old Town Records under the name of The Crowns.) The band consists of three male singers and one female singer for lush four-part harmonies, supported by a five-piece rhythm section of dedicated musicians for a full, dynamic listening experience. The vocals have also recorded demos, for Stan Vincent and JJ Jackson and Jingles and voice overs such as Coca-Cola, Porsche 914, Coast Soap, Charms Lollipops, & Channel 9 Television for Weinberg Productions just to name a few.
