Teacup Sallie came together in the music scene of Fairfield County Connecticut. Each bringing a unique background of styles and influences, the group meshed together to cultivate a modern sound. The band is sextet: drummer Dave Spiecher, bassist and vocalist Scott Falciglia, vocalist Ashleigh Owens, guitar and vocalist Jon Levine, Matt MacLean on keys, and guitar and vocalist Tyler Cloherty.
