"Logical Pretzel to Perform at Shelton's Music Under the Stars on July 17"
Logical Pretzel is an eight-piece Steely Dan tribute band that pays homage to the legendary rock group. It specializes in playing and performing songs from Steely Dan's extensive catalog of music. The band's take on Steely Dan includes infectious hits like "Rikki Don't Lose that Number" and "My Old School", as well as jazzy deep-catalogue cuts.
Steely Dan has regained popularity in recent years, and is especially revered with younger fans, many of whom were born after Steely Dan’s heyday!

Logical Pretzel is made up of experienced musicians, each with their own unique style and interpretation of the classic tunes, who bring a fresh sound to the iconic hits while staying true to the original recordings. Band members are:
- Steve Hanson - Lead vocals, backing keyboard
- Jon Flom - Keyboards
- Larry Siebert - Guitar
- John 'JT' Tavernesi- Saxophones, flute, percussion, backing keys
- Ed Byron - Bass guitar
- Dave Weber - Drums
- Caroline Brokaw Tucker - Backing vocals
- Megan Tyre - Backing vocals
The band members are all talented musicians who have played in and around the area for years, with such established bands as Ace & Friends, Accidental Breakdown, The Avengers, Cover Story, Laughin’ Bones, Nemesis, Old School Revue, Rock Paper Soul, and Santoro & Friends. Drummer David Weber has also toured nationally with acts such as Copperhead, Link Wray, and Michael Bloomfield.
