Connecticut Country Music Festival debuts August 1 in North Haven featuring live country artists, food, beverages, and a high-energy atmosphere.

For nearly a quarter century, families from across Connecticut and beyond have made an annual voyage to Milford for one of the region's most beloved family traditions — Milford Pirates Day. Milford, CT - On Sunday, June 7, Downtown Milford will once again be transformed into a bustling pirate village as the event celebrates its 24th year of swashbuckling fun, family memories, and community spirit. What began as a unique family event has grown into a multi-generational tradition. Children who once arrived dressed as pirates, clutching treasure maps and searching for hidden clues throughout downtown, now return with children of their own, sharing the same excitement and wonder they experienced years ago. The highlight of the day remains the dramatic pirate ship landing in Milford Harbor. Around noon, crowds gather along the waterfront as pirates storm ashore amid live cannon fire, creating one of the most anticipated and photographed moments of the event.
