Get ready to spice up your weekend with flavor, rhythm, and family fun! For the first time ever, the Mahrajan Lebanese Festival is coming to CityCenter Green (1 Ives Street), and you're invited to join the celebration!

 

In a joyous partnership between Saint Anthony Church of Danbury and CityCenter Danbury, we’re proud to bring this vibrant celebration of Middle Eastern culture to the heart of downtown Danbury. Mark your calendars for Friday, May 30 from 5:00PM – 11:00PM and Saturday, May 31 from 12:00 Noon – 11:00PM, you won’t want to miss a minute!

“The last time this amazing festival was held was back in 2019 at the church and now, after so many years, it is our absolute pleasure to welcome this spirited celebration to our CityCenter Green,” said Lazaro Chavez, Executive Director of CityCenter Danbury. “It’s amazing to see such a magnificent community come together and share its culture with the entire city. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy the music, the traditions, and of course the magnificent food. It’s events like this that show just how culturally rich and united Danbury truly is!”

Also appearing is "The Godfather of the Paranormal,” John Zaffis, nephew of The Warrens. They are the headliners, but there are more than 30 leading voices of the paranormal, including the star of Hulu’s “Repossessed,” Leitreanna Terry-Brown, “Mr. Haunted” Jimmy Petonito, Waterbury's own renowned psychic, Patti Griffin, paranormal and true crime producer Gwen Johns, and celebrity psychic medium April Busset. Often affectionately branded as “Hollywood’s Psychic,” Drake is now touring to promote his newest book, Branded by Spirits: A Life Between Worlds." Rosenay!!! is the author of True Ghost Stories of Connecticut. Along with Thomas Gormley, he is the producer of ParaConn. ParaConn runs from Noon-6pm both days (with an early-bird V.I.P. option for $25). General admission tickets are only $19.99 advance/$25 at the door. The weekend pass is $35 in advance. There is free parking, and the facility is air conditioned. Outside, there will be food trucks and live music by the rock band Painted Owls from Houston, TX.
