Award-Winning The Moonrise Cartel Hit the Stage at Daryl’s House on April 9.

Pawling, NY  -  Recently honored with the 2025 Rising Stars of Connecticut Award from the New England Music AwardsThe Moonrise Cartel are quickly emerging as one of the region’s most talked-about live acts. If you’re a Cartel Member, you already know: when The Moonrise Cartel rolls into town, tickets don’t last long.

After selling out venues across Connecticut, the band is taking their electrifying live show north to Pawling for a special performance at Daryl’s House on April 9 — and fans are making a night of it.

In true Cartel spirit, one devoted fan has even organized a party bus to get everyone there together. Because for many, seeing The Moonrise Cartel isn’t just a concert — it’s a ritual. A recharge. A full-blown musical fix. If you’re ready for your own spring “TMC charge-up,” hop aboard the bus and email Wayne for the details at:  Wayne@waynemazzoni.com.

A Sound That’s Timeless — and Totally Now

The Moonrise Cartel is an original American folk-rock band blending folk, indie rock, Americana, and touches of gospel into a sound that feels both classic and fiercely current. Known for soaring harmonies, introspective songwriting, and a vintage-meets-modern sonic identity, the group has built a fast-growing fanbase that proudly calls their music “Folk Rock from Black Rock.”

The Musicians Behind the Magic

Frontman Al Pascarelli anchors the band with honest, narrative-rich songwriting that captures the raw and relatable moments of everyday life. His storytelling pairs seamlessly with the powerful and expressive vocals of Stephanie Harrison, whose delivery moves effortlessly between delicate vulnerability and commanding strength.

Multi-instrumentalist Jason Polise expands the group’s sonic palette with lead guitar, saxophone, keys, and more, creating a lush, cinematic backdrop. Meanwhile, the tight rhythm section of Benj LeFevre on bass and Steve Tobey on drums provides the driving foundation that fuels the band’s dynamic live energy.

More Than a Show — It’s an Experience

From intimate, reflective moments to high-energy crescendos, The Moonrise Cartel’s performances feel immersive, roots-driven, and deeply human. Their recorded catalog — a growing collection of original singles and releases available across all major streaming platforms — captures that same emotional range and craftsmanship.

But longtime fans will tell you: "nothing compares to seeing them live."

So, mark your calendar for April 9, gather your fellow Cartel Members, and get ready for a night of music, community, and pure folk-rock fire at Daryl’s House.
