Bridgeport Favorites The Alternate Routes + The Moonrise Cartel Perform In The Warehouse at FTC on December 6
In The Warehouse at the Fairfield Theatre Company will come alive on Friday, December 6, when Bridgeport’s own The Alternate Routes return home for a special headline performance — joined by fellow hometown favorites, The Moonrise Cartel, as the opening act. This night promises a powerful celebration of community, artistry, and the unmistakable magic of Connecticut’s local music scene.
The Alternate Routes have built a remarkable career defined by empathy and human connection. Their breakout hit “Nothing More” — reminding us that “we are how we treat each other, and nothing more” — catapulted the band to international acclaim, featured during the 2014 Winter Olympics, on NCIS, and across major campaigns worldwide. Since their 2005 debut album Good and Reckless and True, the band has toured extensively, released acclaimed albums on Vanguard Records, and collaborated with artists like Patty Griffin and Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket. Their music continues to inspire audiences everywhere, from late-night TV appearances to NPR’s Mountain Stage.
Opening the evening, The Moonrise Cartel will set the tone with their captivating blend of folk, indie rock, and Americana — a sound their fans affectionately call “Folk Rock from Black Rock.” Fronted by Al Pascarelli and Stephanie Harrison, their emotional storytelling and lush harmonies make them the perfect prelude to The Alternate Routes’ triumphant hometown return.
