A Holiday Tradition Returns: The Yale Whiffenpoofs & Whim n’ Rhythm at Edmond Town Hall
Celebrate the season with a night of extraordinary harmony as Yale’s world-renowned a cappella groups take the stage at Edmond Town Hall on Thursday, December 4.
Founded in 1909, the Whiffenpoofs are the world’s oldest collegiate a cappella group — a beloved Yale tradition featuring 14 talented seniors whose voices have captivated audiences around the globe. Their timeless performances blend musical excellence, charm, and a touch of nostalgia, creating an experience unlike any other.
Joining them is Whim n’ Rhythm, Yale’s all-senior soprano-alto ensemble, founded in 1981. These accomplished vocalists have performed across six continents — from the White House to international embassies — sharing their artistry and championing gender equity in music and education.
Together, these two acclaimed ensembles deliver a stunning performance that celebrates the joy and spirit of the holidays through the pure power of the human voice. Whether you’re a fan of a cappella, a Yale alum, or simply love live music, this is a concert not to be missed.
