Right here in Fairfield County , you'll find parks, plazas, sidewalks, porches, and public spaces transformed into impromptu stages featuring performers of every genre and skill level— all for free! Whether you're a music lover, aspiring artist, or simply looking to enjoy a day filled with rhythm and community spirit, here’s where you can experience Make Music Day near you: 🎸 Bethel Expect vibrant sidewalk performances and local talent at various downtown venues. Don’t miss the music on Greenwood Avenue! 🥁 Danbury From CityCenter Green to nearby cafés, Danbury offers a full lineup of live music events throughout the day for all ages. 🎹 Fairfield Downtown Fairfield and the Sherman Green Gazebo will be alive with music ranging from jazz trios to indie rock bands. 🎤 Georgetown This charming village blends its small-town feel with big musical energy—perfect for a unique and intimate experience. 🎻 New Haven Make Music New Haven includes a wide range of performances at public parks, libraries, and cultural venues. Danbury, CT [June 18, 2025] - CityCenter Danbury, in partnership with the Danbury Juneteenth Coalition, is proud to host the Juneteenth Summer Concert on the Green Festival this Friday, June 20, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Danbury CityCenter Green (1 Ives Street, Danbury, CT 06810). This vibrant community event commemorates Juneteenth the historic day marking the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States with an evening of live music, food trucks, and local vendors. Headlining the night is the electrifying soul music group The Men of Soul, bringing smooth vocals, timeless hits, and soulful energy to the stage. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, grab a bite from local food trucks, and enjoy the powerful spirit of community and culture.
