TRAMPS LIKE US hit the Palace Danbury Stage on January 27, 2024!
On Saturday, January 27 2024, TRAMPS LIKE US will perform live on stage at Danbury's historic Palace Theatre. The group brings 32 years of road-tested musicianship that has won it the hard-earned distinction of being the nation's #1 Bruce Springsteen Tribute band!
Tramps Like Us is the only tribute band to be endorsed by members of Springsteen's team, such as former producer and manager Mike Appel.
Most tribute bands boast that they look and act like the bands they cover, But for Tramps Like Us, paying tribute to the Boss and the "E" Street Band has nothing to do with appearances - it's all about the music. With extreme detail given to the musical arrangements, guitar and keyboard parts and sounds, rockers and ballads are delivered with the raw intensity and swagger reminiscent of the Boss himself.
Check out this review: "Up close, Mark Salore doesn't look much like Bruce Springsteen. Except, perhaps, for the stud in his left ear and a wispy bit of beard. But an astonishing transformation takes place, though, when he gets onstage with his tribute band, Tramps Like Us. He punches out the opening riff to "Cadillac Ranch," the group kicks in behind him, the crowd erupts in war cries and air guitar riffs, and it suddenly seems as if Bruce and the E Street Band have commandeered the Vintage Bar in White Plains." ~Peter Gerstanzang, The NY TIMES.
Formed in 1990, Tramps Like Us has played over 2000 concerts and has rocked well over 1 million fans! Featuring a line up of seasoned and professional musicians with a repertoire of over 150 songs, the band's lineup include: Mark Salore on Vocals and Guitars, Tom LaRocca on Saxophones, Keyboards, Guitar and Vocals; Ken Hopeon Piano, Organ, Keyboards and Vocals; Marty Matelli on Drums and Percussion; and Jon Malatino on Acoustic Guitar, Percussion and Vocals.
