Jazz’n Downtown Brings Live Jazz, Art & Culture to Milford October 3
Milford, CT: Downtown Milford will come alive with the sounds of jazz on Saturday, October 3, 2026, as the Milford Arts Council presents the inaugural Jazz’n Downtown, a new immersive celebration bringing together live music, local art, dining and the charm of one of Connecticut’s favorite shoreline downtowns.
And here’s the best part — the outdoor stage line-ups are FREE and accessible to everyone.
Presented with lead Presenting Sponsor Coastal Bridge Advisors, Jazz’n Downtown is designed to be explored at your own pace. Visitors can arrive by train, car, boat, bike or foot and spend the day strolling Milford’s historic neighborhoods, waterways, boutiques, restaurants and artisan displays — all while live jazz provides the soundtrack.
FREE Jazz Throughout Downtown Milford
Award-winning jazz performers will take the stage at three outdoor venues, including locations along Milford’s scenic waterfront. All outdoor stage performances are FREE and open to everyone, making it easy to come downtown and experience the music throughout the day.
No Ticket. Just Jazz. 🎷
Catch a performance, take a walk along the waterfront, browse local shops and artisan displays, or stop for something to eat. The music continues beyond the outdoor stages, with solo and duo jazz performers appearing at participating restaurants during brunch, lunch and dinner.
Jazz’n Downtown is more than a traditional music festival. It transforms downtown Milford into an arts and music experience where visitors can create their own day and discover something new around every corner.
