Judy's Bar + Kitchen
Overview:
Fairfield County first came to know Chef Judith Roll, this larger than life chef, in 2009 when she introduced her healthful Middle Eastern restaurant Tabouli Grill to Stamford, CT. In the summer of 2015 Stamford residents were treated to a completely different food concept by this outgoing local chef, revealing another side to her creativity and fearlessness in the kitchen with the addition of Judy’s Bar & Kitchen.
Judy’s is pure Americana wrapped in casual surroundings for a neighborhood that’s on the move. House smoked meats are brined, dry rubbed, smoked with Hickory wood and finished with Judy’s own BBQ sauce. Sandwiches are overstuffed with all sorts of good things, as tasted in her award-winning chicken & waffle sandwich. The side dishes, some seasonal – all fabulous, including the cornbread, will have you at “hello”. And if the brisket nachos or mac and cheese don’t lure you in, there’s a quinoa spinach salad with your name on it.
Whether it’s shakin’ cocktails, frying chicken, smoking meats, pickling vegetables, stirring grits, shredding slaw, grilling burgers, baking pies, or playing music, at Judy’s, everybody is having a great time.
